Business Requirements for "ee" Editor


We believe there is a sufficient market for a programmer's editor that is 
completely customizable due to its being distributed with its source code.  The
source code would need to be very maintainable.  This would be accomplished by
simplicity, being well documented, having a plain and common style, and having
other usual characteristics of maintainability.

Here we would estimate the number of programmer's editors sold annually, and
give typical prices.  Then we would estimate the number that would be sold
if they included source code, at various prices.  A comparison of the expected
sales against the cost of development, marketing, and distribution, would
indicate whether the project is profitable.
